Paneer- 250 grams (cut into small & square pieces)
Tomato- 1 nos (cut into small & square pieces)
Onion-1 nos (cut into small & square pieces)
Capsicum / Bell Pepper -2 nos (cut into small & square pieces)
Garam Masala powder-1/2 tsp
Thick Yogurt / Hung Curd – 1/2 cup
Chilli powder-1 tsp
Ginger/Galic paste-1/2 tsp
Lime Juice-2 tsp
Mustard Oil-1 tsp
Tandoori Masala -1/2 tsp(optional)
Chat Masala-2 tsp(optional)
Bamboo Skewers as needed.
how to make the recipe:
- Take some curd and tie in a muslin cloth and leave it hanging till all the water drains out. Cut all Paneer, Tomato, Onion, Capsium into small square pieces.
- After that take a large bowl and add thick curd,chilli powder,garam masal powder,ginger garlic paste,tandoori masala,chat masala,lemon juice,mustard oil,salt mix it.
- Now Add Paneer, Tomato, Onion, Capsium to it mix well. Keep bowl in refrigerator for 2 hour.
- Take bamboo skewers and Soak in water for 15 minutes.Take them out and wipe.
- Take out bowl from refrigerator, Insert Paneer, Tomato, Onion, Capsium in Bamboo skewers alternatively.
- Place the each Paneer Tikka skewers on grill for 15 -18 mins turning over the skewers in between for even cooking or till light brown color.
- Paneer Tikka is ready to Serve with green chutney and onions.
1. Use a non stick tava so that paneer does not stick while frying.
2. Two tbsp besan Powder(Senaga pindi) in the marination. this will prevent the paneer from sticking to the tava and will give a nice taste.
